I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Asavari Manvikar to anyone struggling with symptoms not easily treated by western medicine. I saw Dr. Manvikar for symptoms related to menopause. I did not want to take hormones or any other medications to mask my symptoms. Within days of following recommended adjustments to my diet, and taking herbs, my symptoms have disappeared. I feel so much better than I have in months. I will now be working on a few other things with Dr. Manvikar and am anticipating similar positive results.

Asavari is truly a gift! I suffer from psoriasis and have been on medication for years. It didnt sit well with me that these medication just covered up the symptoms. I am so glad that a friend recommended Dr. Asavari Manvikar to me. I have been discouraged by other doctors because I am very sensitive and cannot tolerate most medication. It is very important to me that a doctor listens to me and treats me as a whole person, which Asavari definitely does. The system of Ayurvedic, which takes into consideration the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health, is a good fit for me. I am thrilled with the results. Chronic issues of digestion, allergies, and muscle and joint pain have all improved with diet changes, therapeutic massage, and herbs, all without negative side effects. Because of her excellent qualifications, I am confident in Asavaris expertise and experience. But what means the most to me is her love and compassion, generosity of time, and respect for me as a patient.

This is my second review; the first was about four weeks age after having seen Dr. Asavari twice.
Shortly after writing that review I fractured a bone in my wrist. I saw an orthopedic doctor who put it in a splint and gave me a Rx for Celebrex, which I opted not to take. Two weeks later I went to my third appointment with Dr. Asavari who, of course, asked many questions about the injury. She sent me home with herbal tablets to take with warm milk morning and evening and prepared a medicated oil that I apply to a gauze wrap and tightly wrap it around my wrist for 2-3 hours a day. The rate of healing has been remarkable with no inflammation and minimal pain.
While I believe that x-rays are needed to determine the location of the fracture and to ensure that it is healing properly, I have no doubt that the Ayurvedic treatment from Dr. Asavari is greatly speeding the healing process.
I never considered Ayurvedic medicine to treat fractured bones; I have a lot to learn! I am grateful to have Dr. Asavari for my ayurvedic healer and teacher. I will continue to spread the news in hopes that others will find healing through Ayurvedic medicine.
