Disappointed with the car wash I got today. Feels as if I spent $15 for someone to spray my car half heartedly with a hose. A lot of dirt left over afterwards and no sign of the ceramic coat I spent more money on.

Last night, I pulled off to this has station as my gas light turned on. With the first snowy weather this season and temperatures consistently below freezing, I discovered that the cover/door thing over the filler cap was frozen shut. I needed gas, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the gas station attendant if they had any solutions. The only attendant at the station immediately helped me brainstorm some ideas. He came out to my car with me and tried to push on the cover, but it still wouldn't budge. He then suggested I go through the car wash as it is warm in there, and he insisted that he give me a car wash for free. I went through the car wash, and he was waiting outside for me afterwards to make sure the cover opened, and it did. The way that he went completely above and beyond to help me was absolutely incredible. My faith in humanity has certainly been restored. I hope this gas station attendant is recognized for his genuine kindness and altruism.
