We have been going to Tom Heinen for our taxes for many years... We had gone to H&R Block for years, but then got a heads up I'm a family member that a mistake may have been made in our taxes.  So we went to see Tom and he found the error and was able to correct it for us... Something in a significant tax refund.  We have been going to see Tom ever since.The services are not cheap, but we feel it is worth the money to make sure our taxes are prepared properly each year.  We receive a tax packet from Tom at the end of each January that we can either send in with all of our documentation or we can schedule a meeting to go through it with him directly... We have done this both ways.  It is very convenient.Tom takes the time to talk with us about the best ways to handle our taxes each year (401(k) contributions, deductions, etc.).  If you have unique work arrangements or are in a higher tax bracket, I highly recommend coming to see Tom.
