I've been to essentia health for my body pain 5 or 6 times. It's debilitating, and each time I tell them I battle suicidal thoughts every day because the pain has been getting worse for years and now I can hardly do my job. They take 20 minutes to tell me to eat more aspirin, drink more water, and do more stretches. . . .then they charge me 400$

Not a friendly service for deaf/autism/aspenger patient's need. The OPM/Insurance company sent an 'extension form' for my child to continue his health coverage under my family plan which is set to expire next month due child's age. The OPM/insurance would gladly to extend/update his health coverage after doctor fill out the form. I sent this form to Essentia office and got no response from them for 2 months. I called their office today and was shocked what staff had told me. Unfortunately, it wasn't productive. In summary, The office does have my child's documentation (16 pages) from professional experts who verified my child's disabilities. My child was seen by the doctor less than 18 months ago. The child was classified/labelled with permanent disabilities that were assessed by professional and medical experts. Now this office is telling me to bring my child in their office in order for the doctor to fill out the half page form. What do you expect from a child with severe disabilities such as hearing loss, autism, aspenger,, etc. No changes since birth. The 16 pages document says it all. The child's doctor has that document/record in their file. The office waited for more than 2 months. I made it clear in that letter and form do not hesitate to contact me if there's any question you may have. Phone numbers were included. Staff said they replied through 'MyChart' and didn't find any even on my phone log. I am having trouble trusting their service now.
