The staff in the birthing unit are a special group, every one of them should be appreciated and celebrated. We were beyond grateful to receive care from this group of nurses, OBs, surgeons, anesthesiologists everyone. Thanks for taking care of our family during this special time. P.S. if youre having a child here at SMMC and planning to stay at the Sheraton, plan accordingly!

Their main priority is to get you out the door as fast as possible and bill you for as much as possible. They are fancy and professional, but the main motives are not your health or wellbeing. Be very careful what you choose.

Throughout my outpatient surgery I found all the staff from volunteers, nurses, technicians , Dr's and support staff to be extremely kind and courteous.

Facilty is not clean. The rooms are old but they could still keep them clean. I listen to beeps through the floor while 3 staff gossiped about another staff. At the desk lots of complainting that could be hear loud enough that pt could easy hear. Staff does not seem to care about pt care.. do not bring your loved one here. I could go on and on about the quality of care if you have a choice go someplace else. If staff does not care here they are not going to care in thd new building. This is a major issue!!! Staff is borthered by any question not helpful and seems like thdy do not care.req sch meds it take hours to get. You are left to sit and wonder what the treament plans is dr. Do not to morning rounds like they say they will. No comuication at all. This is the worst hosp. This is a place people come to died not get treated and well!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
