I recently tried to set up a simple 529 College savings plan for my daughter and 1st it took months and me having to call in get even the monthly's set up to invest to them. Then I wanted to add an extra $500 to the account and today I get the check mailed back to me saying they have no idea what account it is for. Just a loss of words! Was looking at one point to move all my assets there and will 100% not be doing that now.
