I've been banking with them for over ten years now. Phenomenal staff at the Duluth location. Good rewards, good online app, and very helpful credit protection services. Highly recommended.

Emily, was fabulous we were 4 minutes late and lobby closed. We drove Grand Rapids to purchase a car. We were pre-approved for a auto loan. Wanted to complete our transaction pickup check for dealership. We went through the drive through the teller was sweet. Took all our information. Came back asked us to drive around to the front and wait. Emily came out with a welcoming smile for us to come in. In no time we were on our way with check in hand. Everything went smoothly. I would recommend Duluth Affinity Plus a wonderful place to do business. The Bests from Grand Rapids

I used to really love coming to Affinity. There weren't tellers; all were bankers and knew my name when I walked in and my voice when I called. It was so personable, much different from the cold corporate banks and credit unions I was used to. Fast forward 15 years and everything has changed. I no longer feel welcome or like I have a personal relationship with the bank. Their polices change back and forth so flippant that I cannot follow them. They close their lobby at 4 and force folks to use the tellers at the drive through - even when u have an issue I need help with face to face as the intercom is so difficult to transact through. They've messed up my auto pay for my business credit cards for the last 3 months, costing me in interest. They don't use change - like, what? Isn't this a bank? - at their branches, just rolled coins. It's really quite stupid and infuriating. Hold times are very long any time I call in to correct their issues - like double depositing a check to my business account. They had a really hard time figuring that one out, although I explained several times what had happened. Business support services are a joke. I used to have a business banker in the office I coold connect with. Now I have one assigned to me that I've never met and they won't give me her phone number, just an email. So very impersonal. All this to say that the credit union inused to refer people to, where I felt like they understood me and my business, is now just another branch in a conglomerate and I am leaving for greener pastures. I cannot recommend Affinity Plus FCU any longer.
