I've had 2 extractions and implants done here. Dr. De La Mater and the whole team are excellent. They made me feel comfortable, communicated well, and fit me in quickly for an appointment when I was in urgent need for work.

Dr. Bednar and staff were amazing. From the consult through surgery, I felt as though all my questions were answered. They took the time, not only to speak to me, but to my son as well. The process was efficient and all the staff were so kind. I would highly recommend them.

Dr.Bednar was absolutely amazing. I struggle with bad anxiety and he was very kind and understanding. He explained everything in great detail and was very helpful. I would like to point out that the lady that took my x rays was probably one of the rudest people I have ever met. She had short brown hair in a low bun but I didnt catch her name. When I let her know i had to use the bathroom she rolled her eyes at me and made a snarky comment that i had to go black to where i just came from in a rude tone. After that when we were in the operating room, she asked if i had any allergies and when I said yes she sighed really loud and rolled her eyes again like it was an inconvenience for her to put that information into the computer. When I expressed that i was very nervous another lady with long brown hair and glasses was asking me questions and making small talk to comfort me while the other lady stood there absolutely silent and it really seemed like she did not want to be there and made me feel like a burden. Very unimpressed with her behavior.

I am a big baby when it comes to medical stuff. I've never had a tooth pulled while I was awake before but about a week ago, my back molar became infected and it hurt a ton. I got referred to AOMS who was able to take me for an extraction Wednesday, Nov 1st at 7:30am. I was quietly freaking out but the pain in my mouth warranted this thing being done ASAP. The lady I spoke to on the phone that took my appointment assured me that Dr. De La Mater and the team was very gentle. She was very kind on the phone and really set the tone for everything to come. When I arrived at 7:30, the front desk staff were both fantastic. They made me comfortable and got me checked in quickly. Their attitudes were amazing and it really helped start the experience off well. The surgical assistant (sorry for not knowing the exact name of your job) brought me back to the room and she was amazing as well. Empathy and understanding as well as funny and welcoming. She went through the procedure with me and assured me that I was in good hands. She was very knowledgable about the process and put my mind at ease. When Dr. De La Mater came in to say hello, he made me feel comfortable and his bed-side manner was awesome. He let me know the plan and he took the time to speak to me like a human, again with a lot of empathy and understanding. Once the procedure started it was over before I knew it. He numbed up my jaw so well I couldn't feel anything. I remember just closing my eyes and saying to myself, "let them do their jobs". It felt like seconds and it was over, no pain, just relief. The Doctor and his surgical team were funny and professional, quick and very gentle. After I was cleared to leave they set me up with a go-home bag and the surgical assistant again answered all my questions and made me feel very happy. On my way out the door, the front desk staff was wonderful wrapping everything up, they understood the insurance process and I was on my way. They were knowledgable about the billing process and were cheerful and again, very human. The office was immaculate, the setting in the rooms was fantastic and comfortable. Clean, bright and welcoming. I'm honored to have had this wonderful, professional team as my care team. In a world where being treated with empathy, respect and by a knowledgable staff is a rare thing, AOMS did this in every interaction I've had with them. Thank you so much AOMS team. It's been 36 hours since my appointment and I feel 1000% better. If you need a procedure done and are looking for a team to do this for you, look no further.
