        We had a great visit. Staff is great, location was alright, the train horn blasts via the nearby tracks through the nights weren't the best but we got used to them...lol. Location is convenient though to Jay Cook and Duluth so made it convenient.

        This KOA is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms clean, easy to get around, and the entire staff was wonderful. We did a 3 month stay at this campground (so we got to know people pretty well lol) and I would highly recommend it for anyone medically traveling (even for the duluth area) The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, there is a train but it really wasnt a problem, and I work overnight so I had to sleep during the day.

This lovely KOA is set on 15 acres of towering white pines and close to all the fun. From Duluth's harbor, sail out into the world's largest freshwater lake alongside huge freighters. Take a chartered fishing trip to catch salmon and sturgeon. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 80 feet. Your hosts: the Higton family.
