Jan, Emily, and team were a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and knowledge of the market was incredible. There was no guess work, working with Emily and team. We knew exactly what we needed to accomplish to sell our home and they really understood what we were looking for in a new home. I have partnered with Jan Rome and the Rome team multiple times in the past. There is no other realtor I trust more than the Rome Team. Their knowledge of the area and markets is outstanding. Their experience in buying and selling homes is second to none. The Rome team is a pleasure to work with and they have the knowledge and expertise to work through any unforeseen issues and help you through anything that might come up when buying or selling a home.
Recently I decided to move out of the area, since I'm not real familiar with where I am moving to, I asked if they knew any realtors in the area thinking they would get me in touch with other Edina Reality contacts. No, they went above and beyond and found me realtors not necessarily aligned with Edina who know the area and they thought could help me the best. That's going above and beyond.

We partnered with the Rome Realty Team, led by Emily Rome Welter in our case, to both sell our old house and purchase our new house. When we decided to sell, Emily and Jan came by to give us a detailed report of what needed to be done to each room of the house to make sure it was ready for showings. This was very useful for us and took away a lot of anxiety. Once we listed, we had 10+ showings the first day and multiple offers. They walked us through each offer and presented the pros and cons of each.
On the purchase of the new house, we ran into a large complication due to the type of offer we submitted (contingent on selling the previous house), but Emily was able to navigate the complication in a shortened time frame and everything worked out in the end. We truly believe and very confident that had we used a different, less experienced realtor, we would not have been able to complete the purchase of the new home.
Emily was always available for questions, easy to get a hold of, and rearranged her schedule when needed for the signing of important documents. They also allowed us to use their moving van on multiple occasions, which was very useful. We love our new house and have no plans to move again, but we will absolutely recommend Emily and the Rome Realty Team to any friends or family in need.
