Live downtown and you will visit here a lot. They refuse to deliver packages to your building. Every package that arrives you will be FORCED to drive here and pick up. UPS and FedEx have no problem deliver packages to my building. If I could give it zero stars I would.

If this is main office of where packages are coming in, you don't need to be throwing people's packages around to other post offices. Our packages coming from NJ, & came to Knox, & you sent them to Nashville. One of them is there now in Knox & I've been stranded for 3 weeks needing that car part & you send it all over country. I live in Sweetwater, not Nashville TN. I am very disappointed & you're wasting gas & extra pay, plus time by doing that ignorance. Those Should have went to Nashville TN first & then to Knox, & then to Sweetwater. People need their packages & not wait on grandma's or grandpa's.

Called the post office to inquire about moving our mailbox to our property (since it’s currently at our neighbors). Spoke with DAVID who was quite rude in tone and attitude. He asked where it was and I provided my address. He again asked where it was and I told him the physical location. He seemed irritated that I even called. He put me on hold and then came back to tell me that I needed to discuss it with my carrier. I had told him I spoke to the carrier and he directed me to call to speak to the postmaster and I asked to be transferred to them (or get their number). He said that the answer he gave was all I needed to know. I asked if he was the postmaster and he said no that he was a manager. If this is the case, I highly suggest that USPS replace this rude gentleman. Unfortunately when I spoke to my post man he gave me the same answer as before. Very disappointed I am getting the run around when I am simply trying to relocate my mailbox to my own property/address, just a few feet from where it currently stands, as it needs to be replaced due to its age/weathering.

So far I have been calling all morning and it just rings until it finally goes to busy signal. My post was thrown at my door. My box is over a block away from my house, I not only can not see it. My daughter is disabeled so i have to get her in the car and drive just to check my mail. None of this is ok. I will be going to the post master and fully exspect him to give permission to move my box. Maybe even get a descent delivery since we have yet to. I tried to talk to the delivery driver he said I am not allowed to move my box. I informed him of my daughter's disability and he said it wont matter it may change his route. I wouldn't have bought this home if I had a clue that this post office is worse than the last one that is being closed now. Because, we people got tired of thiese kinds of actions.
