I was told I would have some weakness in my legs for a short period of time after receiving two cortisone shots in my glutes. I could feel nothing from the waist down for 26 hours. After that I had to use a walker for five hours. They sent me home like that. It took three calls to the clinic to get a call back. I feel I was given too much anesthetic. The nurse said that was not accurate. She said I must have reacted to it. I have never in 69 years reacted to anesthetic. It was awful. We did not have a wheelchair at home. I had to be brought in my house on a chair with wheels, dragged onto our couch and had to wear diapers because I could not get to the bathroom. When I got a call the next morning I was still told by the nurse she did not know why this happened. I still have not heard back from the doctor or the clinic as to why this actually happened. O
