Shady pricing, overpriced, get an overpriced garage spot or have no where to park, smells like animals everywhere.
plenty of luxury apartments in the same area minus the hidden fees, surprise charges and shadiness.

I'm proud to say I live at The Gallery on the parkway. The main lobby and community rooms are beautiful. The woodwork throughout is so warm and homey feeling. There is a tenant who helps with decorating for the holidays and it's such a wonderful touch. I've lived in many different places over the decades but I feel the most at home here at The Gallery. My unit is well appointed and it even came with my own WiFi router and they provide full cable when you move in. NEVER had an issue with high speed WiFi either, it's great. The staff is outstanding. I suffer from severe anxiety and Jessica was so patient and worked with me to help me find just the right unit. I had a very minor hiccup with my billing and Zach took care of it immediately. I pay for a garage (heated) space and have my own bike rack mount on the wall which is a nice extra. I'd say the only ding is that there are some signs of wear-n-tear on the woodwork from people moving and the carpet on the 1st floor by elevator could get replaced (spills?) Otherwise the building is really really clean which I appreciate. The area feels safe and Burnsville puts lights on the trees for the holiday which looks wonderful. My friends come over and are WOW'ed with where I live. Lots of parking on 125th street. I am literally 2 blocks from a grocery store or restaurants being in the heart of downtown Burnsville. Extremely happy here at The Gallery.
UPDATE: While my previous review still rings true, there has been one major issue with doors slamming since there are NO soft closures on the unit doors. Tenants are very disrespectful at odd hours and will just let their doors SLAM shut (several times in a row??? WHY???) behind them which will seriously be heard and felt since the doors are high quality, heavy solid wood doors. I've brought this up to the building staff/owners with no real solution. Otherwise everything else is great.

I give it 3/5 because dont get me wrong it is a very nice apartment complex and the office staff are all great. I live in the building off Burnsville parkway and the parking lot is definitely small for the size of the apartment complex. Its $75 extra just for 1 underground parking space which I think for the price of rent already, $75 is a little over priced to me just to park in the garage. I was told that if the parking lot is full during the winter, I would have to park at the ramp by the Ames center and walk home which is definitely a big inconvenience and for the price I pay for a 1 bedroom, youd think you could park in your parking lot with no issue. Another issue I have is how much you can hear your upstairs neighbors. I can hear there footsteps, them just opening a door and if there tv is loud I can hear it as well. The rent is a little overpriced considering the size of the apartments and the fact that this building doesnt have a pool and we arent allowed to use the pool at the other building which is just a couple blocks away. If youre looking to live here you would definitely get your moneys worth at the main building off Nicollet.
