        There is so much I could say about working at Alternatives for People with Autism, but I could literally go on about how wonderful this place is. I have worked in direct care for over 10 years. I was unsure about working in a group home setting, but found that the organization was created by parents wanting something so much better for their children than what was offered to them in the late 70s early 80s. That commitment to its residents has truly provided some of the most caring, smart, creative, compassionate, and hard working people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
