Rapid River Lodge

We had the BEST time at the Rapid River Lodge! Rachel and her staff treated us so well and I was amazed at how clean the place was, everywhere we went! We have already been back once to enjoy the waterpark, since our stay and we will be utilizing this amazing facility in the future!

Please reconsider to visit this hotel. I believe my kids got sick because of the water condition at the water park. Our family visited here this week and experienced water contains higher levels of chlorine, hard to breathe, had heard numbers of kids claimed sick because of water condition(hot tub shutdown temporarily) my son ended up having upset stomachs and started vamitting since yesterday. I believe now there is reason why the price per night here is decent. Please be alert !!

Our stay at Rapid River Lodge was wonderful! We stayed in the 2 bunk/king room and it was perfect - the kids had their own room, we had our own room and there was a decent size living area to hang out. All the staff was friendly and the place was clean! Breakfast (lots to choose from) was also a nice addition! Now onto the waterpark - it was perfect! Weve been to probably 10 indoor waterparks with our kids over the past few years, and we loved this one! I read other reviews about chemicals/chlorine, and I will say this is no different than any other indoor waterpark weve visited; we didnt have any issues. It was new, clean and well maintained! The floor of the waterpark is AMAZING!! Its super comfy to walk on, completely non slip and properly drained. NO icky lukewarm water puddles all over a gross dirty floor, and for me, thats huge!! Our kids are 7, 6 and 4 and they (as well as us adults) used all of the features - kid pool, both slides (super fun & not too overwhelming for our kids; one with tubes/one without), lazy river, swimming area and hot tub (outdoor hot tub in the snow was lots of fun)! It was perfect for their ages! Overall, it was a great stay, super fun and definitely on our list to come back to. :)
