I have never had a worse experience with any company. If you are a business looking at working with the hartford please do not for the sake of your employees. The hartford is an absolute nightmare to deal with, they are extremely unhelpful, the only communication I recieve is a generic text saying I need to provide more info. If you want to talk to a human then get ready for confusing call tree and plan to waste a minimum of 45 minutes only to speak to someone who has no idea how to do their job. I was given a different answer for the same questions every time I spoke to someone. In my own personal experience I missed 3 days of work, 3 unpaid days, and I have now been dealing with this issue for well over a month. I have literally spent more time trying to get the hartford to do they're job than the time I actually missed. Even with a doctors note they still can not figure it out. I do not trust this company and neither should you. This entire experience has caused me an uncommon level of stress and anxiety dragged out for 45+ days and counting. Please if you have a choice, never use this company and if you currently do I hope you will look elsewhere for a company that is competent.
