Unfortunately for me, I am someone that has random stuff happen that makes having insurance very important. Fortunately for me, I have an agent in Dan that is always available for me and my family. He is also extremely well connected and knows credible business operators that can help with lifes daily expenses - from car services to home carpentry, he can always connect me with someone I can trust to get jobs done right. Dan does right by his customers.

Dan has insured my familys home and autos for over 5 years. He is always available to help when needed and his colleague Madison is quick to respond and great to work with. He helped me find savings in my policies that were not identified by our previous agent.

My wife and I had Dan as a agent for over ten years. I purchased an expensive trip to Croatia and decided to get get trip insurance as it is a 20k expense. AmFam does sell trip insurance and I asked Dan and his associates to look into this for me. You only get a ten day window to purchase trip insurance so time was critical. By day eight of ten, I was getting anxious as Dan was not getting back to me, he stated that I do not know what I am talking about and that if he could sell me a policy he would. I disagree and he went off on me, swearing and cussing at me because I pressed him to do a bit of research into his Company and find me a policy. Him screaming and swearing at a loyal customer was not the answer I was looking for. I switched AmFam agents that afternoon and the next day AmFam and my new agent had the trip insurance policy wrapped up within the timeframe and proof of said policy to the cruise line. Dan lost a client and a friend because he was too lazy to make a phone call get a trip Insurance policy for me. One would think an apology would be appropriate after his treatment of a client, but not Dan.
