I was driving with my two year old son and my truck was hit buy a school bus insured by Hanover. I called every other day for 3 weeks and they kept telling me that they were waiting for a statement from the insured driver. At the end of week three, I decided I was done waiting and contacted the bus driver myself, who then told me that he had not been contacted by the insurance company at all.  Finally they took fault and now it has been 5 weeks since the accident and they are trying to force me to take a settlement that is thousands below my blue book value. My truck was for my business, and I will not settle for the peanuts they are offering. They leave me no choice but to turn it over to an attorney. Hanover has been a horrible company to work with and it's still not over yet. I would rather gouge both of my eyeballs out with a rusty spoon than ever do business with this company again.
