Wings Credit Union

It's a giant ATM center now. My banking needs are simple. My paycheck is deposited in my account. Once each month, for spending and grocery money I withdraw an amount in 50s and 20s. That's it. Now, each time I go to a branch I walk out frustrated. Saturday, I went to a branch and was told I couldn't get 50's, they would need to be exchanged after I received money from the ATM (why couldnt i just talk to a teller in the first place?) but the ATM denied my request for any money because I exceeded their limit. Stood around waiting for a while for an automated teller and finally I just gave up. This is typical of the last 6 or so times I've been to Wings. I'm cleaning out my accounts now. I would advise others to do the same and would not in any way recommend that someone open a new account.

Although the new remodel looks great but the fact you have to go through a machine to talk to a person is not great. Im a pretty patient person but when someone has to stand in line for 20-30mins waiting for one of the three machines to open up just to sit there for an additional 5minutes to just talk to someone. Bring back the human interaction. I am sure I can speak for a vast majority of the age groups from young to old.

Inside of the bank is all ATM machines now. Requiring you to wait in a queue. Machine will not take any bills that aren't in brand new condition and the employees there will tell you they cannot take the money. If you are standing there with cash in your hands the employees at the bank will not take the money. They also force ATM withdrawal limits so if you need money outside of their very short hours you are screwed. And if you withdrawl $500 at their ATM it will give you all 20's & 5's despite literally advertising that the machine lets you pick your bill denomination. I cannot wait to transfer my loans, shut down my accounts, and leave this awful bank.

WHY does a BANK that's suppose to be secure need people to talk to teller through a MACHINE. that's not secure. How do I get human help without looking around a lobby looking stupid. This is not the way.

They have poor customer serviceI have been a member for 6 years never had one issue overdrafting late payments or anythingthe one time I did it was for a 20 dollar credit card balance I forgot to pay and it went 30 days past due dateI immediately payed the debt went into the branch and spoke with several representatives and supervisorsthey have a dumb policy that they failed to properly communicate nor did they give a courtesy call or reminderI have banked and dealt with several different institutions I am shocked the lack of care and customer service accommodation they offer or care to offerit is the exact reason I will be closing my account as well as recommending the people I referred to close theirs as well because if a future problem came about they will not help or be of any accommodating solutions what so everthere are banking institutions with much friendlier care and services
