Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Becky Bratulich

It's clear this financial advisor is used to working with people who come from a high income background. If you make less than $50,000 a year, i would suggest staying away. It's clear she has never understood how someone could have a poor credit score or be unable to simply open up a bank account with any high-profile bank. When i explained that i am $100,000 in student loan debt, her response was, "You should focus on paying off your debt." As though one could simply have enough money to do that. It's fine if debt is not your field of financial help, but to belittle the situation with such an air of arrogance is inexcusable. $100,000 may not sound like a lot to you, but it's unfathomable to those of us at the bottom. Entitled.

Iied about the 5 percent fee saying it was not that high until it was too late. High fees. Had horrible returns I gave them 10 months and I was still negative on all my mutual funds because of the 5percent fee I was reluctant to sell my mutual funds and finally buy vangaurd etfs but within two weeks I was up 7 percent I had 15k for ten months and two weeks later with vangaurd I have 16,124 Switch over today not tomorrow I beg of you. I went to Edward Jones advisors because I thought they might have some creativity but I was wrong. I gave two stars because they did fast and accurate 401k and pension transfers.
