Beautiful facility! And the staff members and the owners who are hands on get 5 starsthey are all extremely friendly and helpful. Very attentive with our mom and with the other memory care seniors. Ryan, Sue and Teresa to name a few, and the others go above and beyond not only to meet our loved ones needs but our families as well. The meals, snacks and desserts are tasty and our mom loves them. The activities and live music is awesome! Based on the experience we have had so far with previous facilities and now with Personal Care Senior Living, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families for their loved one.

First I want to say I don't have much experience with senior Care Facilities. I only know this one. Thankfully, my mother was only there a year but within that year, she did not get the care that the contract said she would get. My sister dealt with this mostly but it's been left to me to do the review so here goes. Her medication was always late and because she had dementia she didn't know they were late and they seemed to take advantage of that with all the clients in the memory care unit. In her last days she was in hospice on a respirator to keep here comfortable. Hospice is not there every day so it up to the staff to do their job and make sure she is comfortable. I had noticed the machine was not working correctly and I shared my concern with the staff only to find out the girl was new and had no idea what to do. She went to the assisted living side and got that technician only for her to come over and tell me there was nothing wrong with the machine. She continued to touch the nose piece with her ungloved hand telling me air was coming out which it was not. She wouldn't do anything and we had to wait for the day crew who said it was NOT working after putting it in water and seeing no bubbles. They finally called someone to replace it. After that I think someone must have said something because the staff starting checking on my mother every hour. When the night crew came back on, one of the staff who did not speak English well came in and in her broken English I swear she said "get out" to all of us. Thankfully my mother only had to put up with this attitude for 3 days before she passed on October 9th at midnight.(pay attention to this date it's important.) They say that even though they look like they don't know what's happening the dying are aware of the people in the room and what is happening around them. My sisters and I has been there from Friday to Sunday afternoon and had decided we needed to sleep so we gave my mother some peace. At 12:15am I received a call from a man telling me my mother has passed. Ops, wrong person, they were supposed to call my oldest sister. He proceeded to tell me that my mother was NOT on hospice and he didn't know what he should do. I explained to him that yes she was and I would handle it. Hospice was contacted and took care of getting my mother to the funeral home. October 9th or 10th we cleared her room only to find very disturbing things. They said they washed her clothes and she had her name on everything. but after she died, we started emptying out the Dresser drawers, and the closet and found she had other people's dirty clothing in the drawers. They said they took the laundry basket down to the laundry room and washed everything and brought back the clean clothes. But when I went through it, they were dirty clothes and they were someone else. We ended up tossing almost everything in the trash with disgust. My sister asked the office staff that since my mother was only there for 9 days would there be a refund of some of the $7500 my mother paid to be there a month. I would be nice to have some of the funds back to pay some of her bills. She was told the policy states we would get a small refund, nothing near the $7500. She waited but saw nothing. She tried calling but no one would return her calls. This is just a short list of what my mother, my sisters and myself had to deal with. These please are thieves. They don't care about your loved ones, its all about the money. Keep your loved ones at home as long as possible and cherish them as long as possible and let the owners of these places get a real job and then maybe they will understand how hard our loved ones worked for that money they demand.

I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. The staff was helpful and friendly, we stayed through lunches and the food looked good and my mom ate heartily. We also had a nice time visiting out on the patio that, altho it overlooked an older strip mall, also looked out over trees and a ball field where my mom like to look at the activities going on. They also had vegetables and flowers growing in pots on the patio where residents can tend to the plants if they chose to. There were activities such as bingo and live music as well as a terrific activities director who kept all the residents very busy. The owners were there multiple times and chatted with us and seemed very involved in making the facility seem more like one big family environment, All in all I give it a great review.
