Everyone there is friendly & helpful. My 1st therapies were with Cole. He helped me be less fearful of p.t. & pushed me only so far. Very sorry to see him leave! Now I see Megan and she's also exceptional at reading me & doing what I need. I've recommended BST to many of friends. My mother is the person that told me to go see you!

The best therapy in the area. They make sure that you are comfortable and secure with the therapy you received. With out them I wouldn't be moving as good as I am.

I would give Big Stone Therapy in Alexandria MN a zero if I could. I am disappointed in Big Stone therapy whose four core values are faith, family, fairness, and fun according to a online Indeed review by a PT therapist in Morris MN. Hillary at the corporate office in South Dakota told me they were a Christian company. I asked Hillary if faith implied honesty and that honesty is what I want. My therapist (Megan) went on materity leave and I saw another therapist (Cole). On my last apointment Cole only saw me for about 20 minutes then left me with a student to do therapy for 30 minutes. According to my insurance rules and regulations the therapist is not to leave the student alone to do therapy with a patient. A liscensed therapist is always supposed to be in the room with the student. Also, it will be interesting to see if they charge for the time the student was alone doing therapy with me. They are not supposed to. As I was leaving Cole said that maybe he would see me one more before Jan then again in Jan as visits might be running out for this year (2022) and would be starting over in Jan. 2023. I said I thought my insurance paid for unlimited visits if medically necessary. I told Cole I would call my insurance company and ask. I asked him if he wanted me to call him if visits were unlimited and he said no. I called the insurance and they said visits were unlimited. I called Cole after talking to my insurance company even though he said not to and let him know my visits were unlimited. He asked what I wanted to do and I said I wanted to see him Friday afternoon. He said okay. In my opinion, if he really thought my visits would be uncovered he would say so and not made an appointment for Friday Dec 9 at 330 pm that I asked for or at the very least give me an advance beneficary notice saying it might not be paid but he did not do that. I thought about the way he was treating me and decided on Friday, the day of my appointment, to ask if I could cancel on without the 24 hour notice. I called and Cole said I could not cancel without the 24 hour notice but to come in and we would do a discharge and the readmittsnce when Megan came back. I said I would but then decided not to and told Cole that I would not be coming in. After cancelling I called Corporate and talked to Hillary at Corporate on Friday. I told her my story and said I did not want to be charged a late cancellation fee after what I had been through. She said she would get back to me Monday. I called 4 times before she called me back on Monday. On Friday she said she would call Monday after talking to the manager and Cole. On Monday she said that she would call Tuesday afternoon. I hope the student and Cole are honest about what happened.. I told Hillary that people are not always honest if it makes them look bad. I meationed ways she could check. I hope this does not interfer with seeing Megan after her maternity leave but I fear it might. After all they are coworkers. Let us see if this Christian company responds with honesty. (The 9th commandment is NOT lying.) I hope for honesty and integrity. Depending how they respond tomorrow I may upgrade them from 1 to another number.
