Sir, the color of your skin means absolutely nothing to us. To be accused of that alone is ridiculous. First-you claimed to be in a parking lot, when our driver went to you, you were blocking the road with no mention of that. Your truck had died in the intersection, and had been sitting there approx 2hours from what the police told us. Where your truck was sitting before we even touched it had a few puddles of oil under it. We didn’t even touch anywhere near the oil pan as we hooked a winch line to a pull pin to pull you out of the intersection. The driver hooked your axle and brought you to our shop to await your mobile mechanic to come fix your truck. We quoted fixing your truck which you said you didn’t want to pay, you would have it fixed. We said that’s fine but if you want us to fix it after someone else can’t it’s still going to be the same price. The next morning you advised your mechanic couldn’t fix it and then asked us to fix it, which we did and charged exactly what we said we would. 3 days later you claim we hit your oil pan, and send pictures that do no add up. The damage doesn’t relate to where we hooked up, nor does it even make sense. We told you bring it back to our shop for further investigation and you never came back, so no sir-we will not replace parts on your truck simply because you want us to, when the “damage” in question appears to be old, not related to anything we did, and before we touched it it left the same amount of oil leaks on the pavement as it did at our facility. Oh yeah, and you didn’t claim any damage until after you were dissatisfied with the bill to repair your truck after your mobile mechanic couldn’t fix the truck in our lot and we charged you for fixing it. The oil leak you claim to have needed to add 5 gallons to make it to the cities-you left at 10am, and called us 3 days later. Had we actually damaged it, you would have called on your trip home or when you got home, not days later. And the pictures appear to have hit the opposite side of your oil pan that we hooked to.We do everything we can to help our customers-we aren’t perfect by any means and mistakes can and do happen from time to time-that said if we do cause damage-which is unlikely but it CAN happen-we pay for it completely. But we need to verify it was us, our pictures don’t match yours, you never came back with it or even offered an address for us to look at the truck. And then to claim we are racist-your race has NOTHING to do with how you are treated, or the level of service you get, and frankly we are outraged you even accuse us of that. To over simplify it, pre existing leaks you are trying to accuse us of creating(on a 2006 Columbia with 1.4 million miles on it), then you are mad you had to pay a mobile mechanic who was not qualified to “fix” your truck and when that failed you chose to have us fix it-which we did-and then you didn’t want to pay for it so you fabricated a damage claim to attempt to get some of your money back. All our services rendered were perfectly reasonable charges, the work done was satisfactory to you until you decided you wanted money back, and a discount we never offered, you just asked for one and we declined as the rates we charge are the same regardless of the customer.
