I do not have good experiences with this place. First and the latest is no communication, I chose to write to them with concerns on scheduling issues. I wrote them from the homepage of the website its been over a week with no acknowledgement. Instead of doing this publicly I gave the a chance to prove that the care for patient wellbeing. That in itself is poor, don't paint a picture of concern when there doesn't seem to be any in my situation. I had appointment in beginning of January. Showed up and they told me this was cancelled, the lady at counter was very rude about it. I left {not happy} without making appointment and called at a later time to make another appointment. Well this is a appointment was a month out. I mentioned that this is a medication refill appointment (5-10 min) that they cancelled, so she said that since I made an appointment that she put in for the refill and said "since I have the appointment made it will probably go through". Nope! Okay this is a controlled substance Ill just wait. 3 weeks later- oh a call from the office We have to cancel the appointment the doctor is not going to be here we can make appointment another month out. What! Why have a schedule if your office cannot follow it. If you follow that is THREE months no appointment for (ten min). I understand this is appointment for a controlled substance, key word controlled, powerful mind altering drugs. This should work both ways, if your going to prescribe the controlled substance then you should prescribe it on a controlled basis. If you think there is a problem I should be consulted in timely controlled manner. Its bad enough us with a issues have to look like drug abusers having to ask for our medication every month just to help function with daily life a little better. We also need the help of our medical centers to see us in a timely matter! a response from the office 3 weeks ago from a different review. "Hi Jessica - Thank you for your feedback. Park Medical Centers and Dr. Khaneja-Sharrow follow the State of Michigan guidelines for prescription writing of certain medications. We are sorry that you find this inconvenient but it is done for each patient's safety." Patient safety? That is a response to needing to see a patient monthly to prescribe controlled substance and I cant even get a (5-10 min) appointment to hold! Mental Health has quite a bit influence on your physical health. So Wixom HEALTH Center should consider that when they are poorly scheduling. I also had a issue with 3 symptoms that all showed up at once and specifically told the doctor that all showed up at once. I walked out with three diagnoses and a prescriptions for each with no look into it. Let me tell you something there is a reason that three things happen at once and its not three separate issues. You don't just cover up the showing issues with prescriptions you should find the root cause. For example: your refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher all go out at once. you don't fix them all, you find out what is tripping the circuit and fix the issue. My whole chart is filled with wrongful ailments because the doctor did not talk with me just write down issues that he diagnosed wrong. I hope those wrong ailments does not follow me to a new doctor. This was experience with a particular doctor I can not speak for the other doctors at the office hopefully they are better!
