This is a great environment for both dogs and owners! The fee (under $2/month) and required registration seems to make all the difference in keeping a healthy and welcoming environment. I've been to dog parks where people have hit other dogs and another where the owner brought their dog in heat. I've never seen any drama, dog or otherwise at Wayne County dog park. My family has had just as much fun as our dog meeting new people here.

Love the park, but the black walnut are a problem toxic to the dogs. The other problem is people jumping the fence to get in, nobody had been coming around to check.

Friendly people and it's good to know all dogs are up to date on their shots. They've also got toys & water for the dogs.
