Modern Obstetrics & Gynecology: Dr. Jay E. Fisher, MD

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the outstanding care I received from Dr. Fisher. I traveled a very long way to seek his expertise, based on a recommendation from another physician in the same field who holds Dr. Fisher in the highest regard. I ultimately ended up having a very successful robotic surgery with Dr. Fisher. His kind care and compassion are comforting and his knowledge and surgical skill clearly aided in my seamless procedure and quick recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Fisher to anyone in need of an expert in womens health.

I feel so lucky to have chosen this office. My insurance changed therefore, I had to find new drs. The drs are very passionate. I have seen both drs and I find them both excellent. Above and beyond and very attentive to my concerns. The front staff is the BEST. Lauren and Bridget are very friendly and professional. I love the calm atmosphere when I arrive. The entire staff seems to work well together. Thank you for being a happy place for me to visit. Its so nice to see professionals enjoying work and their patients. and I drive an hour for this care!

Dont delete my post! Says a lot about you. Only giving 1 star because the staff upfront is nice, they can get you in right away and answer your questions. However, the one time I felt sick like I caught an actual bug In their office I called later that day and asked what I should do about having diarrhea - you know dehydration while being pregnant is super serious yet Julie told me not that serious and to call back if things got worse stupid answer. I couldnt recommend this OBGYN after my traumatic birthing experience may 12. Dr. Shoa saw me about two weeks later from my last stress test.. so on May 12 of sitting there for stress test she said she didnt like the way my baby wasnt moving much so she was sending me to Beaumont Royal oak for more testing / might be induced not knowing how serious things were about to get I asked to go home and have my husband bring me back to the ER. She told me to get there quickly under three hours. No problem with that got to the ER two hours later to find out my Blood Pressure and heart rate were extremely high and I was rushed back to the OR in minutes and not even ten mins later I had my baby girl. The OBGYN who delivered my baby by emergencies C-Section had mentioned it was negligent on Dr. Fishers team for not explaining how super serious it was for me to get to the ER because if it were an hour later my baby could have died. I felt during my whole pregnancy with Modern OBGYN my care wasnt taken seriously. I cant recommend this office and I will never forget what I went through with Dr. Fisher. Also, Dr fisher saw me in the ER and he never once came over to congratulate me on having a baby or even came over to see my baby girl. You must be in the wrong profession!

Dr. Fisher is an incredible Dr. I've never received such compassionate care. He takes his time to be sure to answer any and all questions, he never judges your decisions. His staff is so kind and respectful, which isn't surprising since he is the one that sets the tone. You simply can't do better than Dr. Fisher.
