        I usually file online with turbo tax had some issues this year so i figured i would give one of the services a try Jackson hewitt was the closest and since i dont currently have a car so i tried them i will be doing my own taxes from now on they said 34 federal return both turbo tax and HnR block say im due 1500 that big of a difference should be criminal

        Do not think youre getting any type of a deal worth doing your taxes with Jackson Hewitt. The tax experience is already stressful, to have someone who was rude and not very communicative while entering very important numbers is unacceptable. I filed in mid March, the person told me I was getting a $500+ refund from federal before realizing she hadnt entered all of my paperwork that she had in front of her. Next she tells me I owe $225 federal, I pay the amount owed and left feeling uneasy about how it went. I filled out a survey and email to the company expressing my concerns about my experience, nothing. Flash forward to this weekend when I receive a notice from the IRS I owe another $229. Its not the amount owed, its about someone who doesnt know what theyre doing preparing taxes for others. Hire more staff, hire people to train your employees, allow them to shadow someone to help build confidence, literally anything other than what youre doing now.
