In my opinion, they hit all the negative catagories - dishonest, shoddy work, unprofessional, etc. I have dealt with hundreds of contractors in my 30 years in commercial real estate - First Oakland and Wayne Helgemo (owner) in my opinion are the absolute worst. Avoid these people at all costs. Look at their three reviews - the first review is from the owner himself, Wayne Helgemo - what kind of person gives himself and his own company a positive review? Very deceitful at the least. The only detailed review is from Ms. Lovelace who appropriately gives them a one star rating. Again, save yourself from a potential horrible experience and avoid this contractor!!!!!

I will never recommend this company to anyone! We paid over $10,000 for yard work back in April 2022. They were paid to remove trees, weeds, put down new mulch and planting new trees. A couple weeks later, weeds started to grow back Im abundance. But my main issue was that 2 of the 4 trees they put in were completely dead a month after they planted them. I attempted to contact them several times before they answered and said they would come out and look at the trees. They never showed. Called and left several voicemails for 3 months straight and still no response. I feel they taken advantage of because $10,000 is not chump change and I contacted them soon after they completed the service with no response from them. Each of those trees cost $300 and we are out $600. They ran once they got paid and could care less about maintaining business. I gave up trying to contact them after 3 months of trying to get the issue resolved. NEVER NEVER use this business! I am now talking to a lawyer to see what can be done. Services: Mulching, Weed control, Yard work
