My bike buying experience was a complete debacle that ended once we got to Macomb Bike.
I had never bought a bike before, and wasn't up to speed (pardon the pun) on the current technology/features.
My GF and I went to 5 different bike stores, and I rode Specialized, Cannondale, and Trek. I finally landed on a Trek that I liked (Dual Sport), and Macomb had it in the color I wanted (black).
Mike and the whole team at Macomb were very informative without trying to hard-sell us, but rather listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions to fill our wants/needs.
We were so happy with the experience we decided to buy 2 bikes.
Thanks Mike, and the whole team at Macomb Bike. We're very happy with our purchases. Keep up the good work!

Me and my brothers have been customers at Macomb Bike for many years. Whenever I come in, Jeff, Lauren, and their staff share biking knowledge that helps me select exactly what I need... be it a tube, tire, mountain bike, road bike, or some styling bike clothes. I've recommended their shop to friends who were looking to buy for the first time and those who were looking to upgrade. I've also attended some of their rides, some with very special meanings... Dan's Memorial Ride and their Breast Cancer fund raiser to name a few. Great shop and great people!

I had an issue with one of my spokes right before I had a long trip planned and I was in a bit of time crunch. I took it in here and Jim was able to diagnose and fix the issue in less than 30 minutes at a good price. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

Clean organized bicycle shop that has a decent selection of bikes and accessories. This place has helped me tremendously. A few months ago I invested in a new bicycle as I needed one I could commute longer distances with and take off road. After attempting to go through several other shops and getting treated poorly, this place not only sold me what I was looking for, but theyve gone above & beyond to make me feel welcomed. They are community oriented and host events. Ive gone on one of their group rides which was followed by a taco lunch they provided for free. They host free roadside repair presentations. They have answered A LOT of my questions both over the phone & in store. One day I rode 25 miles from the house then messed up my chain. I called and over the phone, one of the guys talked me through how to fix the issue. They even offer free tune ups for the first year when you buy a bike through them.
My only issue was the miscommunication when I needed to get my first tune up. I called on a Friday to see if I needed an appt and was told I could just bring it inHowever I was not told until I arrived that it was going to be a week out. When they learned that its my only transportation, they asked if I could come back the following Tuesday and they could tune it up while I waitso I did that. So after waiting 4 days and riding 40 miles (2 round trip rides to the shop) the job was done. If I wouldve been informed over the phone that it was a week wait OR I could bring it in on that Tuesday and wait while its fixed, it wouldve saved me 20 miles of riding. Other than that, my experiences have been nice.
