It is not because we like and enjoy teaching Taekwondo to our children. It is to raise my child strong through positive and negative methods. But at some point, our society defines violence as a negative method. However, children who are educated only in a positive way later lose their self-reliance or become narcissistic and feel guilty. Just as children who grew up in a greenhouse make extreme choices even in the face of small disappointments or frustrations, children who grew up outside a greenhouse adapt to their surroundings and protect themselves and stand up despite any disappointment or frustration. A British proverb says that the more precious children are, the more they travel. Taekwondo promotes memorization and understanding through Poomsae, perseverance and endurance through competition, and self-defense and consideration through Hosiljutsu. In addition, through the pain and suffering accompanying during training, they learn the confidence that they can do anything by feeling the joy of overcoming and achieving themselves, not others. Kim's Taekwondo USA (World Champion Taekwondo) is the only one that teaches based on the educational philosophy and pedagogy of Taekwondo. Like other taekwondo gyms, it is said to be unconditionally good, and it is not a gym for business, so it is the best taekwondo gym for our children. If you want to raise your children to be strong, responsible and courageous, I highly recommend Kim's Taekwondo USA (World Champion Taekwondo) as the best

I am the mother of my two children and my son and daughter were trained in Taekwondo by Master Kim from the age of 5 at Kim's Taekwondo USA (World Taekwondo) and are currently studying at the Korea Military Academy and Yeel University. The taekwondo lessons she received there not only taught her to punch and kick, but she also learned mental education such as patience, perseverance, courtesy, integrity, and indomitable spirit as well as patriotism, love for hometown, and camaraderie. Our children improved their concentration through taekwondo education, and as a result, their academic performance improved. After becoming a black belt, they developed the ability to control themselves more and be considerate of others through leadership training. Master Kim gave students the US President's Award, which helped them enter college. As far as I know, many students who attended Kim's Taekwondo USA (World Taekwondo) have received a lot of help in going to college, and I know that Master Kim's children are also growing into great members of society after graduating from good universities. If you are looking for a Taekwondo gym for your children, we believe that Kim's Taekwondo USA (World Taekwondo) will be the best choice for you.

(Translated by Google) My child participated in a trial lesson at Kims TKD at the Troy, Michigan location. My daughter had taken 1 year of TKD while we lived out of state and loved it. She was excited about participating and signing up. Unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. The instructor rules the class with a stick and abnormal shouting. (I understand martial arts, sport, and traditional.)The frightened faces of all of the children make me question why any parent would subject their child to this. Clearly, through facial expressions and body language, the children were frightened. Yet, he wielded the stick (like a thick wood dowel) while he continued to yell at the children. The children never looked happy for one moment during this class. Not one time did they appear to participate with zest or zeal, only because they were forced to be there. Such a display of anxiousness while practicing. My daughter works hard and endures hardship. She pushes through adversity. She cried for an hour right after being released from class. She was shocked at seeing another child being struck. Now, she says she has lost all interest in TKD. As her parent, I have a lot of "life lesson" talks to bear, including being a self-advocate and using your voice even when it is terrifying. She has a strong constitution and she will bounce back. We both learned a lot here. I want to caution you as a parent, that before you take up the offer of a trial lesson, watch the classes first. I know that some instructors curb their teaching to be "softer" when prospective students are watching also. And, if this instructor was soft today, I surely don't want the full throttle, no holds barred version of his instruction. This was a trial lesson. she loved TKD. Now I'm afraid my child has been traumatized. The experience class was a very bad experience for my child and me. My heart is still pounding. You may think that the teacher teaches properly, but he teaches in an old-fashioned, negative way. Even though my mom is watching, she scolds me so terribly. It's terrible what it would have been like without me. You have to be beaten, I will make you go down to the white belt, You say you dont have a girlfriend are violence. I was horrified to see a child beaten with a rod. If you do that in Korea these days, it's a big deal. If the child does not know well, you must teach him well. It is doubtful whether it is the spirit of martial arts to suppress, intimidate, threaten with a rod, and force verbal violence. It's just the Korean education method of the past, but since this is the American countryside, it's only visible as traces that still remain. I don't know what to do with the trauma and trauma my child suffered. I keep crying because the teacher is going to hit me.
