    It seemed like the store needs more staff so I was patient The first person helping me switched to someone else and did not even acknowledge that I was sitting right next to her obviously waiting. Just an Ill be right with you would have been satisfactory. There was a significant lack of follow up- its not like I can get the sizes from the back myself - which led me to not get a pair for my husband too. In general I had resigned to the slow experience until the cash register. That was tv level absurdity. The woman asked was helping me. I never got the first persons name and it had switched so someone else, because I was proactively looking to make a purchase and leave. So I described the second person, whose name I also didnt get. She responded very sarcastically Great, come back any time. I was processing that for a second, because who does that? when she began demanding my phone number and email. Ive never shopped at footlocker before and dont know if I will again, so I declined to give either and said Ill take the printed receipt. She was so obviously annoyed; it was so out of place for any kind of service that I kindof found it laughable and shocking. Great tv satire.

    There was a time when a shoe salesman would help you try them on. Gone are those times for sure! I had the worst shopping experience this weekend getting shoes for the kids. Only positive I can say about this store is that they did have the shoes in stock! However, trying to get the sales people to bring me out the correct size proved more than a challenge. While I am not expecting these sales associates to help figure out sizing and stick around to help the kids try the shoes on, I do expect some level of service. The store was not that busy and the salespeople were just occupied taking to each other, or looking on their phone, or not helping us get the right shoe size from the back. They seemed upset that they had to do the slightest bit of work. Not only were they not very helpful, but not even the slightest bit courteous or thankful that we were shopping at their dirty store. And I do mean it was filthy; trash on the floor and tables. The seats where customers needed to sit to try the shoes on were just grose! When we did somehow find the size we needed after much of our effort chasing after the salespeople to bring us the shoes, the attitude of the checkout girl was a joke. The checkout girl wouldnt even look at me once while ringing me up, didnt say a single word to me during that transaction. I felt I was interrupting her and putting her out for having to check me out. Who am I to expect some thankful acknowledgment for shopping there and spending a lot of money on kid shoes. If this is what brick and mortar shopping has become, I will just order shoes from Amazon next time and return the ones that dont fit saving the hassle of going back into a dirty unkept store and dealing with the unfriendly, unqualified, unmanaged and ungrateful, sales staff at footlocker.
