Hi Donald,Unfortunately part of our job is to do rent collection. Today is the 18th of the month and we had not received payment yet and followed up with you as you missed your payment date. When I asked you for the previous text messages from our office that you said were "rude" you read us one from a year ago that was also a collection message (which again we do for anyone who is late on rent). As a courtesy we have waived your late fees several times as well. In fact we did this for you last month with these messages to your co-applicant:received thank you! your ledger has been adjusted and your balance is now $0, thanks!goldenkeydetroit.comYou're welcome - have a good afternoon and stay warm and safe today :)goldenkeydetroit.comIn regards to your work order, the appliances are not included in your lease as you stated (the reason for this in single family homes is that appliance issues are 90% of the time caused by abuse or neglect from tenants). Despite this not being included in your lease we still dispatched the work order to Superior Appliance repair as another courtesy. Our rent is due on the 1st of each month and we do charge a percentage late fee and daily late fees (so that every day rent is late matters - otherwise what incentive is there to pay on the 3rd of the month vs the 30th?). Again we have still made many exceptions for you over the course of the year.Collections is part of our job as a property management company and while we try to work with tenants whenever possible, it is our job to collect rent.If you are truly dissatisfied we would love to further discuss this and other options for resolution so that you may find a property and management company that best suites your needs.
