I started suffering from weekly migraines after the birth of my first child. As a new mom, this was debilitating and interfered with my ability to parent. I tried a prescription medication, but it was making me sicker. However, I was able to completely stop migraine pain medicine with the help of physical therapy! I have been 2 months migraine-free. Dr. Scott and all the staff are very warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Thank you!! Were forever grateful!!

I was bothered by continuing minor headaches in early 2023 so I went to my family doctor, Bradford Merrelli, MD. He recommended I visit the American Headache Institute where I was treated by Mr. Angelo DiMaggio, the creator of the Institute. Mr. DiMaggio evaluated my headache problem and established a systematic treatment plan for me, whereby I visited Mr. DiMaggio twice a week and continued my therapy daily at home. Mr. DiMaggio educated me as well on the methodology of the treatment. Within three weeks I began experiencing permanent relief. While the headaches were addressed in segments in my head over a period of eleven months I am proud for the Institute and pleased for me that I am now headache free with a plan to remain that way.

When I first came to see Angelo at the American Headache Institute I was in extreme pain and after I saw him I have learned all of the techniques in order to be headache free he is very informative and I would highly recommend anyone who has headache pain to see them at American Headache Institute

If I didn't experience this myself, I might not believe it. But believe me that my treatment with AMI and Angelo DiMaggio has CHANGED MY LIFE!! I began treatment at the end of September 2023 after a referral by my dentist because of an increase of my TMJ pain which I had suffered from since my teens, so over 50 years! But Angelo asked me about other symptoms which I relayed as headaches, face and eye pain, neck and shoulder pain, all suffered daily for OVER 40 years. I lived with the pain as I had sought treatment and relief from many doctors, a chiropractor and TMJ specialists, including UofM dental school professors with no success. Every day required multiple doses of over the counter pain meds such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol so I could function. At my first appointment with Angelo I found relief!! I have not required ANY pain medication since that first visit!! Angelo gave me "exercises" to do to help heal the damage to my spine at the neck/cervical level. I performed them as Angelo instructed plus if I experienced a symptom I knew what exercises to do and there was immediate relief. To have relief at my own hands, under my own control?? It was unbelievable and so incredible. I have been symptom free for weeks at a time but when I have rarely experienced some forehead pain, I can limit it to a minute or less by using my exercises. The times of trying to ignore my pain as best I could are over because now I can address it quickly and end it effectively. What a gift!! I wish I had known about Angelo and AMI years ago but now that I have experienced this amazing relief, I want to encourage everyone not to wait one more day to seek help!! THANK YOU, Angelo!!

I've had migraines since I was a teenager, they worsened through my college years and have gotten completely out of hand more recently. (I'm 27 now). I was dealing with migraines 15 days out of a month, and the rest of the days I would have a pretty constant low grade headache. I felt lucky to have just one day of feeling alright in a week. My symptoms have changed throughout the years, but have included: squeezing pain around my forehead and temples, intense, sharp pain behind my eyes and nose, ear pain, neck & back tightness, vomiting & nausea & no appetite, aura, insomnia, dizziness, tingling hands, upper chest pain, feeling hot/sweaty, runny nose & congestion, light & smell sensitivity, exhaustion, confusion, and many times the pain would only be on one side of my face/head. Here are the things I've tried: over the counter meds, many supplements, gluten free, alcohol free, chiropractor, 2 ENTs with allergy tests and CT scans, histamines, Neurologist (MRI, SSRIs, multiple CGRP blockers- nurtec & aimovig, nerve block injections, Botox, nerve pain meds, 3 different triptans, beta blockers), classic PT, massages, ice packs, yoga, food allergy tests, probiotics, regular sinus rinses, and changing salt/electrolyte intake. I found relief in a few medications, but relief was never consistent, always fleeting, and often expensive. Recently, after my ENT saw that the results of my sinus CT scan were completely normal, she told me, "there is no cure for migraines; you will be dealing with this the rest of your life." Thank goodness I found the American Headache Institute. I've been working with Angelo for only 3 weeks now, and have had ONE migraine in the last 16 days. And I had the tools to completely abolish it in only 4 hours. In a normal 3 weeks, I would have had at least 8 migraines that would last 8-12 hours, plus headaches on top of that. I haven't taken ANY medication in the last 16 days. Before, I was taking Nurtec every other day. (I'm saving so much money already!) I was blown away that Angelo sat down, listened, and discussed my predicament with me for an hour and a half on my first visit. I finally felt like my situation was heard and understood. I am literally excited to be there twice a week. I ALREADY have my life back. I can stop worrying about cancelling plans, and I can really start planning a future that I had just about lost hope of having. I'm looking forward to updating my review further into treatment. I have high hopes and finally feel like I'm on the right path to healing and abolishing my migraines and headaches, WITHOUT MEDICATION! I very highly recommend the American Headache Institute to anyone and everyone that is dealing with headaches or migraines.
