Rates are absolutely awful. I had general liability through them for about a year. Being a new business owner, I did not shop around as I should have. Turns out I was paying almost 4 times the amount I should have been. I went from a 5000 dollar premium to a 1300 dollar premium by switching to a competitor. My insurance policy had the same underwriting/terms as well. They are an independent agency so they make more off commission and charge their clients way more in order to be able to do so. Stay far away

Conifer is absolutely terrible. The most unprofessional insurance company I have ever dealt with. On top of taking months and months to get back with us on small claims, we put in a claim over a year ago that ended up costing us a lot of money due to damages, and still have received nothing from them. Then, a few months ago, my company paid over $50,000 for our new policy. Somehow, an invoice showing that we still owed $800 got lost in the mail last month. Not a huge deal right? Its only a month past due. Call us and let us know we still owe $800, we just paid you over $50,000, so 800 wont be an issue. Nope, instead, they cancel our policy entirely and tell us that we can get it back for $6500 LOL. The most petty and unprofessional organization i have ever dealt with. We'll take our business elsewhere.
