Gardner Builders

We suffered storm damage last week. A large branch pulled the power mast off the roof. We called Chris Gardner the next morning and had his electrician, Tom, over in 10 minutes. Tom worked all day Saturday and Sunday to replace the mast and electric meter. Since there was also roof damage, Chris also called his carpenter, Zack, who came over on Sunday to repair the roof, gutter and soffit. The work was done quickly and perfectly! Before we dealt with Gardner directly , they had done a beautiful kitchen remodel for a family member who is very particular and some times hard to please . A referral from him means they passed muster. We met with Gardner several times to discuss remodel of our family room. Completely professional and could sense their passion which made us feel very comfortable in awarding the job to them. Through out the process , there were a few hiccups with getting material ( tiles ) from a source that we insisted on using . Gardner had our back every step of the way, and again made us feel at ease . They are just wrapping up and The transformation of this room is absolutely incredible , beautiful and fresh. We cant wait to welcome our family to enjoy this room with us . We have just scheduled a meeting to discuss redoing our kitchen. Stay tuned !! Having used Gardner Builders in the past with great service when Doug was running the business. I can tell you that the business is not the same. On two occasions since Doug left the everyday operations, the son overcharged us for a small project with subpar results and never followed thru with a bid for the second. Would not recommend! Would not recommend this company. As a general contractor they hired inexperienced sub contractors and would not provide the subs info. Hard to get your money back with shoddy work. Not female friendly. Extremely condescending and took advantage if you're not familiar with the process. Have everything written..no verbal agreements to changes.
