Warren McIntyre, owner of VisionQuest Financial Planning was sooo helpful and wonderful to work with. He put me on the right track and saved me a ton of money. I had done a lot of research so knew I wanted an hourly fee-based planner. I checked out his website and his credentials and read some of his blog posts. He is a proponent of index funds. After meeting with a couple other planners, reading a lot, listening to some podcasts and watching a Frontline episode about the pitfalls of retirement planning, I was pretty certain that was what I wanted. The other two planners I had spoken with were anxious to get me to sign on to funds with a lot of hidden fees when I read through all the paperwork. I don't want to go into all the details, but believe me--if you are looking for someone honest and trustworthy to help you out with your financial planning, this is the right place.
