Where do we even begin We went under contract on a home in their Peninsula neighborhood back in Aug. 2022 The listing said near completion and Fall 2022 Completion. That was the first of many lies. Fast forward to today (June 19, 20203) we are still waiting for the home to be completed so we can move in From poor craftsmanship, to broken cabinets, damaged counters, incorrect tile, incorrect grout, structural damage. The list goes on and never ends. They wont take responsibility for anything at all. They tell you what you want to hear just to turn around and do the exact opposite OR do nothing at all until youre at your breaking point and cave in or hire an attorney. Fairview Construction, Michael Jr. And Michael Sr. are the definition of grade A scammers. They took what was supposed to be our best experience ever and completely ruined it. Nick (one of their Superintendents) is just as bad as them. He never knows whats going on, tells you yes yes yes when things start to get uneasy hoping you will back off a bit, just so you can walk into your home at the next meeting and be devastated yet again. You could not give me a house for free if it was built by these fools If you have the option to build with them, or have a bonfire with 1.1 Million in cash, I would have the bonfire. At least then you could enjoy something with friends and family. If you are still considering them after reading this, I HIGHLY recommend knocking on ANY of our doors in the Peninsula neighborhood first, as we have all dealt with this and would be happy to share if it means we could prevent someone else from having to deal with what we have been through.

Buyer beware of Fairview Construction. We bought a condo from FC in November 2021 and are still waiting for repairs. Hole in siding, upgraded kitchen cabinets that are cracked, plumbing water line through basement wall, the list goes on and on. Builder claims that he will take care of repairs and says he will be out the next week. Never happens. We had another contractor out to estimate repairs and they are over $10,000. I would not recommend buying or renting from Fairview Construction.

I would highly recommend that you dont use this company. The communication process is either horrible or none at all. You will spend your money on upgrades, just to have poor work quality and unfinished work. Anytime a trade will go into the house something new is messed up, broken or missing. They will tell you they will get it done or fix it and then months go by or the work just gets worse. They will also find the cheapest and easiest way to fix something that is wrong or broken. The builder, his agents, and the superintendents will run you in circles telling you how things need to be a certain way and to trust the process and trust that the work will be done and done right, until you walk into your home over and over again to see nothing but the mortifying outcome.
