The quality of their dark roast coffee deteriorated over the last few months, its nothing but a diluted , tasteless coffee drink, wont be drinking coffee there anymore.

I started going to Panera for their drinks, but now I go for the food and drinks. For my food, I had the pick two. I picked the autumn squash soup and the mediterranean sandwich. The soup was excellent. It had a creamy, silk richness to it and a natural sweetness from the squash. It was "slap yo mama" good! The sandwich...omg! The veggies were so fresh and the bread was a soft wheat bread with a hard crust. They dressed it with lettuce, used hummus for the spread, layered the veggies and topped them off with a red pepper spread. That food was so flavorful and delicious, it was like a party in my mouth. For my drink I chose the papaya passion fruit green tea. I love that tea. It's really flavorful but the flavors blend well together and are not overwhelming.
This is a good place to come to if you're looking to enjoy a meal and chill.
Panera is also a nice place to study or do work. Today, a majority of the tables were occupied by people working from laptops, either alone or in groups.
Vegetarian options: For sandwiches they offer a mediterranean veggie sandwich and a grilled cheese sandwich. For the fall they offer an autumn squash soup.
