If you're searching for a beauty school please choose another. On the tour they tell you one thing but once you actually enroll it's another. The esthetics program is a joke. They've cut down teaching on so many things including brow tinting, lash tinting/perming etc. They scam you out your money and give you empty promises. You can do better at another school.

I took the Manicuring Day class here at MCB and my instructor, Ms. C, was honestly one of the best teachers ive ever had! She teaches you so much more and gives different tips on how to perfect your craft. She has 20+ years in the industry so I was very thankful to have her as my instructor and very thankful on how patient she was. Literally, THE BEST!

Disappointed. Thats all I can really say. Ive been coming here for years and theyve done a splendid job each and every time. Around last year I came in and wanted my hair dark brown with caramel highlights after coming in with bright blonde hair. I was devastated when the lady was done because it looked terrible and I really mean it. I specifically said I didnt want any red tones because I dont want it looking red in the sun, thats all it was truly. There was no brown whatsoever and the caramel highlights were straight platinum blond and I came in with platinum so I didnt understand why she was bleaching my hair in the first place. I then find out after that she also fried my hair along the way, I was mad. I then waited a long time to ho back because I was letting my hair grow out and it did but it took forever. I went back to this school about a month ago (October) and my hair was half blonde that I did myself and half black. I went in wanting a copper/ auburn color because Ive got it done here before when my hair was straight black and it turned out amazing. Let me tell you, I was there for like five hours and Ive never been there that long before. The girl fried the whole right side of my hair. THE ENTIRE THING. I cried and cried because I dont understand how I could simply bleach my hair at home with no problems but when I actually ho somewhere to get it done, they mess it up terribly. I have grown my hair out for a long time just for one of their students to fry the whole right side. They need better students at this point, I will not be returning to this place and I just felt like I had to share this because it could happen to anyone. Years of growing my hair out to nothing, everything destroyed. (Update) pictured below showing it was clearly fried, broke right off when she put a bunch of heat on it also all of that color just slapped right on so I couldnt even tell, I went back in literally a day or two after it happened and they did nothing, just told me to pay for one of their treatments after I was clearly upset. Also decided to read my review to someone I know and laugh about it but you wont make it far if you just fool around.

Hello to all! My name is Shawnta I'm a former graduate student from MCB and I was enrolled in the Manicuring Program. I'm currently a Licensed Nail Technician thanks to my wonderful instructor Mrs. Carol. She's very detailed oriented and great at explaining the material for the curriculum and preparing us for test! I also have a great appreciation for Mrs. Chris, Mrs.Terry, and Mr. D as well. They were here to help me with whatever questions and concerns that I may have had to reach my goal of graduating. Just make sure to do your best, communicate, make the best of your experience, and stay positive! To all the future MCB students I hope you guys have a wonderful experience and you learn as much as I did and you guys put forth great effort in achieving your goals and all should be well. Good luck!
