8 months back, my new car got damaged due to mechanic fault. They accepted it and referred to their liability insurance- Travelers group. When talking to agent from Travelers group, it was a whole new experience. They are supposed to resolve the issue but in this case, they made it worst. I learned that these guys thinks themselves as shark. They tried to rip me off. They tried to rough talk me, demean me. They were only giving me price for a used engine with no consideration of car value degradation or factory warranty. I asked then to buy my car at fair market value and they did not agreed. I hired a lawyer and sued them. When they went in front of judge then only thing then wanted to do is to buy my car. Reason given by them to Judge were- car value will significantly reduce and will possibility be a salvage title after engine replacement. So, they bought my car at a KBB-excellent condition evaluated price. They needed to pay me as an extra all the car expense I did by renting/hiring the car during this period of 8 months. Judge also made then pay all the fee to my lawyer. My recommendation to anyone in similar situation. Hire a attorney and definitely go to court if they are willing to take your case on contingency. I never dealt with people like them in my life. No moral or business ethics.

Trash company. Makes changes to your policy without approval and then sends you a bill wanting more money after they bill your mortgage company. Cancelling asap

In May of 2023, I was involved in an incident with a driver in ohio. The driver claimed that I bumped him while sitting at a light in rush hour traffic. My dash-cam evidence was ignored and Travelers decided to find me at fault.
I subsequently lost my professional driver job, and because my driving record now has an at-fault accident on it, I can no longer get work in my field. They've ruined my career, and all because they refused to contest the baseless claim.
I am planning a lawsuit against Travelers, which will take time and expense...but it's worth it.
I will never buy Travelers insurance, I will never recommend them, and I suggest anyone shopping for insurance should look elsewhere. Anywhere else.

I am just validating others reviews. Its true. They will deny your claims. If Claim agent Maurie Parker handles your case, just avoid. She wont respond for months and its basically a trick to make money by keeping you on the policy. and cancellation process is even difficult! Get Progressive or Statefarm instead of wasting time with irresponsible agents like her.
