Wow! Regretfully, I dont normally write reviews, but had to share this one. My wife, my son, and I stopped in roughly 20 mins before close. I could see how this may be frustrating to some. Not to Alison though! I told her we were looking for spikes for my sons 1st year in track. We were told that what we were looking for were not available. I didn't want to even ask because of how little time was left before closing, but I asked "is there any way you could help us fit him?" Alison, knowing full well that we wouldn't be spending money, didn't hesitate. She brought out different shoes, explaining more in 15 minutes than I had learned in my hour or so of research. Through this, and through talking with my son about his running plans, she found us a pair of spikes that would work great for him. She gave him socks to try on as to make sure of fitment. Asked him to try on both shoes. Asked him to jogg around. Doing everything to make sure they were the right fit for him. There was no expectation that I'd be buying anything, but I ended up buying the shoes and the socks! We need more Alison's out there. Primarily to help these kids, but also some parents who could easily make mistakes when their children are interested in new things. She made it more than easy. I'd say an enjoyable and informative experience more than anything. To think I may have just bought something online instead of walking into Fleet Feet?! Will recommend anyone looking to visit Fleet downtown.

I love the downtown Traverse City Fleet feet! The staff is always so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I always leave with what I need :)

This store is amazing!! Great customer care and support and amazing testing for shoes. Also Bonus lots of gear.
