1 week post strabismus surgery- I have had a lazy my entire life. I met Dr. Thuente about 1 year ago. After our first meeting he told me he could correct my eye. He put me in glasses and did some follow up measurements. Surgery went just like he said it would. I had 0.0 pain. I can not believe how fast my recovery is going. Doc called me a few hr post surgery to make sure I was okay. He then got me in a few days later for a check up. I am very happy how this has gone so far. I cant wait for my new prescription. I will follow up in a couple months after completing recovery.

He did an amazing job with our 8 month old who needed surgery for a clogged duct. We saw him again a couple of times with our four year old. Dr. Thuente made our son feel very comfortable and he actually enjoyed his appointment! My husband and I also felt very confident in the care that our children received from him.

INCREDIBLE! I had gone to 5 other doctors - three of which were other opthalmologists in the TC area - and none diagnosed my problem correctly over the course of two years. I was told I had pink eye over and over, then gland problems, etc. I decided to try again Dr Thuente came into the exam room, looked at my chart, connected the dots between a digestive disease I have and medication for that and within five minutes diagnosed me correctly and told me I was also sensitive to a preservative in the drops I'd been using. He gave me other drops and a prescription. Within two days I was better. After two years of puffy red eyes and scales and goop obscuring my vision and no doctor or Google could help me. I went back for my checkup after a month and I'm seeing 20/20 again. My eyes are clear. I can sleep through the night again. I don't have to spend an hour a day with a warm compress, spend hundreds of dollars on drops that do nothing, and I'm confident to go about my day and not have people staring at me wondering if I'm stoned or if I have terrible pink eye. I'm so thankful for Dr Thuente. He's the best around. If I could give 10 stars I would.
