Kensington Church

Great church!!! We just moved to the area and have found Kensington to be very welcoming. Everyone is very friendly and it already feels like home even though we have only been a few times. Pastor Joel's messages are impactful, relatable, and easy to understand. Highly recommend checking out this church.

A very welcoming church, very modern, and a nice facility!However, the first red flag popped up when I realized no one around me had a Bible, nor did any of the church staff walk the aisles offering any for those who didn't have one. The worship team was fine (I don't focus on the ability of their talent because, in a worship sense, it doesn't matter what they sound like as long as it's genuine worship).The message was even more lacking. being a topical sermon, it lacked the true meat of the Bible and what God actually says. The preacher sprinkled in a couple verses that he even appeared to have a hard time connecting to his sermon.TLDR: it's a decent church for those brand new to Christianity, but it will struggle at reaching those who are searching for a deeper, more challenging, relationship with God!Best wishes to the staff at Kensington church.

Kensington is located in the same building as Bay Pointe Community Church was. Things changed so much after Bay Pointe . Not the same feel, and I'm sad every time I drive by it. We make a 20 minute drive across town even though we live 3 minutes down the road.
