I picked up a pair of guards for my boss, v- plow, and they work great!
Easy install, easy on, easy off.
I brought in my other the plow to have a pattern created For new guards, and they finished the next day.

Custom exhaust failed very soon after installation. Wrong catalytic converters were chosen by GLW. Converters and main muffler they fabricated both failed. Damaged the floor of the vehicle. Had to find another shop to fix their mistakes. Would not recommend nor ever use again. If only there was a rating less than 1 star.

I had a wheel fall off my boat trailer on the way up to Traverse city for vacation. If I had to order a new axle it would have taken 10 days, these guys got it cut, fixed, and as good as new in a day and a half. It made it so we could actually take our boat out on the lake before having to go back home. I would highly recommend Great Lakes Weld for any job in the area, they were fast, friendly, and very accommodating. Thanks again.

Needed welding done on my snow plow mount. I walked in and they said they were booked that day but get to it the next day. I stopped by on my way home from town and they had everything done and at a very fair price. Will definitely recommend.

First contacted this company in the Fall of 2018 to come out to Frankfort to provide a quote for a stainless steel arch to mount solar panels on our sailboat. They never showed or called. Contacted them again in very early Spring 2019. We needed the work completed by Labor Day 2019. "Sure, no problem."  Boat was going to be in Traverse City, and so they finally got us a quote by the middle of summer. Deposit given to them in less than a week. Not until the second week of October 2019 did the work get done. And the arch is too flimsy. We will have to add bracing ourselves as we are leaving the area on the sailboat in less than a week. Very expensive, $4K, for a flimsy arch. I recommend boaters and others look elsewhere for their stainless and aluminum work.
