The negative review of Shannon Saunders and her knowledge and ability, along with the trashing of Discover Massage and Baker by a previous reviewer was obviously done by someone who is a competitor. Shannon is wonderful, knowledgeable, and has been very effective in treating me for the pain and swelling caused by lymphedema. She has even gone so far as to seek out MORE training for better and different techniques to treat my issue. Thanks to her and Advance Chiropractic next door, I'm off of most of my pain meds. I highly recommend her.

I don't get massages as often as I'd like...or need to, really.  I was having some tension issues years ago and my very dear friend recommended I seek out a sports massage therapist to not only clear up any knots, but also help to really stretch out my muscles.Long story short, I keep coming back to Discover.  The location is not the most appealing, but the therapists do such a wonderful job making the treatment rooms comfortable and relaxing, you forget you're in a strip mall on one of the busiest roads in Traverse City.They really know what they're doing and the pricing is fair for the quality of service you get.  They are very professional and intuitively know when to carry on a conversation and when you're just needing to zone out and not talk.As a person with touch-sensitive issues, I have always felt very safe and comfortable at Discover.
