I saw Trish, and she was very nice and personable. I actually did enjoy chatting with her. This was my first time going to a “nicer” salon, since I usually just go to a Super Cuts type place honestly. The reviews were great, so I thought I’d give it a try. I showed her some pictures and basically wanted a trim with layers and a face frame in the front. I don’t know anything about hair, so that’s why I showed pictures and trusted she knew what she was doing. The end result does not look anything like the pictures I showed her. The layering is wayyyy too extreme. In her defense, I did say something like “I usually don’t notice the layering/face frame I get when I’ve gotten cut in the past”, so I guess she really took that to heart and went for it. Basically, what I’m most upset with is how much I paid for the haircut. It did not turn out great and she didn’t even style/blow dry it or anything. Did I pay $50 for the front street location? I think so. I’m not trying to be mean or hurtful, and I know the bad cut is partly my fault for not being super clear and direct. After my experience, I just wouldn’t recommend this salon.
