Highly recommend working with Keeston and his team. I had previously met with Keeston when he was on the asset management team at a larger firm and could instantly tell how much he loved investing. He has spent so much time answering my questions, talking about the markets, and helping me understand how as he calls it "doing the little" can drastically change my retirement trajectory. He also sends out regular newsletters talking about everything from the economy to meme stocks, which makes me feel more informed. Working with Keeston has been beyond refreshing. My families long term wealth manager had recently retired so we took it as an opportunity to interview many of the firms in Traverse City. We wanted to work with someone young (but experienced) that would be there for the long haul. Not just for me and my wife, but our kids and maybe even their kids too. Also, was really impressed with his ability to construct an investment strategy around some positions we already had with large embedded taxable gains in them (rather than have us sell them and pay unnecessary taxes.) Overall very happy, and felt compelled to share our experiences as I know there aren't many local wealth management firms in Traverse City.
