We were referred by a friend who used New Life Renovation to paint their house, so we gave them a call and asked for an estimate for painting the entire interior of our house. Jordan came out and took the time to go over the areas to be painted and discussed paint sheens. Right away we could tell he was very knowledgeable and had the experience and equipment to handle a job this large. The pricing he gave us was reasonable and fair, as it included paint within that price. There was absolutely no pressure of signing a contract up front, and no pressure to even go with them if we didnt want to. We decided to go with them and a contract was written up, and they started as soon as we had our paint choices with no rush to have them decided by a certain date. From day 1, I really appreciate the prep work Jordan and Jacob did prior to painting; this included taping off every edge and line in the house, laying down paper on the floor to catch any paint, and draping all furniture with plastic tarps. They showed up on time every day and even worked around our work schedule as necessary, and they managed to finish this large job in a reasonable amount of time. They even handled ordering and picking up the paint for the job. They did take a few days longer than they predicted, however, I appreciate them communicating this and expressing that they would not be sacrificing quality to get done with the job sooner. At the end of the job, they went around and cleaned up any (minimal) paint that may have gotten on any surface and the whole house (including a few spots on the carpet) was spotless. I couldnt find anything for them to spot clean at the end when they were complete. They even took the time at the end of the job to touch up any spots that I saw and pointed out that I wanted touched up (no matter how tedious). Their professionalism and customer first mindset is 10/10, and that certainly speaks through their character and workmanship. Im convinced Jordan and Jacob from New Life Renovation are the best painters you will come across in the Downriver area. They dont function like other painters / general contractors in the area where theyre looking to price gouge you for shoddy work. The estimate they give you is the final price, and there are no surprises. They are honest, straightforward, and professional. These guys have a sense of pride in their work and it really shows through the quality of work that they output. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone who needs painting done. Jordan and Jacob do amazing work down to fine detail and listen to what the homeowner wants. Our two story home was a big project (drywall repairs, paint walls, trim, and ceiling) and I am thoroughly impressed by how every edge of every trim and angle is cut precisely. Theres no paint bleeding from the trim to the wall, from the wall to the ceiling, from the trim to the floor. The ceilings have no roller lines left over. Every trim nail is punched and every crack and crevice is caulked. People who think they can paint their own house arent going to take all of this work and time into consideration. All I had to do was choose colors and finishes and they did the rest with great attitudes. Well worth it. Service: Interior painting

Jordan is a honest painter that truly cares about the customer he is serving. Very rare to find painters that are attentive to the customers desires and wants. He is punctual and always leaves the customers home clean and organized. He also uses only the best paint products possible, including the paint itself and rollers and brushes. He spends time doing the little things that most painters skip over like caulking and wall repairs. I recommend him to anyone with painting needs!

My husband and I purchased a new home in August that was in dire need of some TLC. We were striking out trying to find a painter that wasnt scheduled weeks out so we reached out to Home Depot and used Pro Referral to find Jordan. When we met him he seemed like he know what he was doing and was able to start fairly quickly so hired him. He showed up and had the unfortunate luck of his help calling off but still started the job. As time progressed he was still struggling to get his help here. After a couple days we started noticing issues with the paint streaking and talked to him about some of the issues. He was initially defensive and then tried to pass the blame to us for choosing the wrong sheen but reluctantly said hed fix it. As time progressed he began rushing the job as he was already over schedule which meant he wasnt giving the paint enough time to dry between coats and not using enough paint on the rollers (we have numerous full cans leftover). We were torn between just firing him and letting him finish but decided to get the job done and wed deal with ever we needed to later. Now we are about 6 weeks out from him finishing and are working on repainting the main floor because the walls are peeling which has been tons fun with a 6 and 3 year old who think peeling the paint is fun.
