Shane did an excellent job on the inspection of a new home that I'm purchasing. I'm a very detail oriented person with high expectations, and he met those expectations. He did a thorough inspection of the home and checked the septic field. It took him longer than he had planned (I appreciate that he wasn't in a hurry), which was likely due to the time he took to show me the things that he had found and to answer my many questions. There were a handful of things that he pointed out that were minimal, but that's the type of inspection I want, very thorough. He is knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions during and even after the inspection. I feel that he went over and above, and I highly recommend LHI.

I was extremely pleased with the inspection Shane did on a home I will be purchasing. He was prompt, pleasant and provided a very thorough report of his findings. He made sure to take his time (3+ hours) and ensure that every square inch was reviewed, he also shared his findings with me so I would have a better understanding of what I was going into. Having known Shane for 30+ years, (but being away from the state of Michigan for 23 yrs), I knew the decision to use “Lucas Home Inspections” was the right one upon my return! Shane did a fantastic job for us on our home inspection and radon test. He was thorough, informative, helpful and clear. I would recommend Shane without reservation to anyone looking to have peace of mind on a home inspection. I came away feeling like I have a very clear to do list of the few minor things that I want to take care of. His follow up report showed up in hours and is a great resource for me going forward.

Shane performed a very thorough inspection. His professional expertise is apparent from the moment he begins his work to the written report he sends following his work.
