The staff were so compassionate and friendly. I deal with immense appointment anxiety, and they - Dr. Hagelthorn and Wendy - were very patient as well as entertaining to try to help me relax. It was my first time there and I was needing urgent dental work (a tooth extracted) and they were so helpful. They were the only dentist office that were able to get me in same-day which was such a huge blessing; I had been/was experiencing a lot of discomfort/pain. I would definitely recommend this dental practice. And the doctor who treated me, Dr. Hagelthorn, called me that evening (last night) to see how I was feeling. The only unfortunate part is that they don't accept my dental insurance, so I had to pay out-of-pocket, but it was worth it. Thank you, Great Lakes Family Dental, Dr. Hagelthorn and Wendy!

5:40 a.m. I have been trying to find ANYTHING within an hour drive since around 4 a.m. Even with ones that Google said were open 24 hours, I just kept getting recordings. Then I decided to call the office my mom uses, LITERALLY THE NEAREST ONE TO ME (Google fail!), expecting to leave another voicemail. ONE OF THE DENTISTS ACTUALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE AND SPOKE DIRECTLY TO ME!!! I was told that he isn't in the office and won't be today. He told me to go to the office at 8 a.m. when they open and someone would take care of me. I have been living with the pain of a broken tooth for a month, now, and the earliest appointment for a oral surgeon that MY dentist was able to arrange was about a month out, still. (Don't get me wrong, I love my dentist, but unfortunately, he is not an oral surgeon.) I will give an update later today. UPDATE: They had to refer me to Michigan Oral Surgeons, but they were very professional and took good care of me. Thank you!

Thank you for taking such great care of my husband. The pre-existing oral issues plus his nerves made him very hesitant to seek treatment but he was very impressed with the professionalism and skill demonstrated.

The dental hygienist (I had Amy) was very gentle and took extra care with my sensitive teeth. :) She was fabulous! The dentist was kind, knowledgeable and quick. 12/10 service! Thank you again!!
